1977 Datsun 280Z in Mint Original Condition. This car was sold new Aug 7, 1977 at Winter Motors in Sacramento CA. And has had two long term owners before me. Mileage of 86,470 miles is original. This car has always resided in the Sacramento Area since new. It has Factory AC, which was needed in the hot dry Sacramento Valley. The AC is Original and has been maintained like the rest of the car and still blows ICE COLD. This is a really makes the car much more comfortable to drive if you live in a warm climate. Collector owned and maintained over 21 years after purchased from original owner. This is a great investment grade car. Original Blue CA plates. Bone Stock car with Genuine Nissan replacement parts always used. New Bosch battery. I have a photo album with over 100 very detailed photos showing just how special this car really is. It's body is MINT, Laser straight and has one high quality repaint in its original Code 110 Persimmon Red Color. It was done in PPG paint, very high quality and it shows. Paint is awesome with only a few chips that have been touched up. Only the exterior was repainted and it matches the jams, under hood etc.. perfectly. This car virtually looks new. Especially under the hood. All the finishes under the hood are bright and sharp. A show piece. Interior is original and needs a few things to bring it to show condition. I use seat cover on the front seats but have it photographed without them. One tear in passenger bolster and a couple in base of driver seat. Couple of cracks in dash and original carpet faded in a couple of spots. The carpet is not worn anywhere. Headliner and door panels are perfect. Rest of interior is mint. Spare compartment looks brand new, not one scratch under the tire. I doubt the tool bag was ever opened before I photographed the tools. Tires are high Quality Michelin and at about 70%. Glass and rubber is all nice . Rubber is pliable. Windshield still is factory Nissan Glass and has one star that will need repaired. (Or I can have windshield replaced for you for $350). Seen in photos. Mechanically this car is perfect and needs nothing to make a cross country trip today. I know of no problems. The car starts right up, idles very smooth, no smoke ever. It has just passed CA Smog which is a testament to how well it runs. 5 Speed manual shifts perfectly and makes it fun to drive. Clutch is firm, Brakes are solid with no pulling. It really drives beautifully. I would consider a shock replacement and that is about it. Only things I know does not work is the clock. I will update auction if I think of more.
