Vehicle Detail
HelloThis is a 1987 Suzuki LT250 recently rebuilt in 2007 with very low hours! As you can see by the pictures, no expense was spared rebuilding this quad. The person who built this had $14k in receipts he showed me. I acquired this in December of 2010 and have never taken it out! I got this from someone who owed me money ($8000 to be exact) and let's say I was lucky to get this.....because it was this or nothing! Clear title in my name is currently in my hand with current GREEN STICKER REGISTRATION ready to be signed over!I do not know much about this quad other than what the person told me about it. I did take it to my local bike shop who works on all of my dirt bikes to have them check it out. They checked it out and it does work great. They did a tune up for me and made sure everything was working properly. I start this thing every other weekend and ride it around the block. This quad was built for the SAND, which I don't do. It came with the really nice custom rims and tires for the sand but I was unable to start it and ride it that way so I bought some rims and brand new street/dirt tires so that I could start it up and ride around the block to keep the juices flowing. THIS THING IS VERY VERY FAST!!!!!This quad was built to race in the dunes! The gears are really short and this quad is very light to go fast through the sand. It was rebuilt in 2007 by a company called RIS Design. There is absolutely NOTHING stock on this quad. It is a race/show quad. It was rebuilt over 5 years ago, so don't expect absolute perfection, but it is really really nice as you can see by the pics. This quad is ready to ride today! Yes, it does need a few things, but nothing that needs to be done before you ride. The suspension I believe needs to be redone. It looks like the hoses are old and deteriorated but still holds my (250 lbs) riding around the block. The motor is built and is 320cc (stock is 250cc). The owner that did this stuff said he would beat the 500cc Quadzillas because it's so much lighter. I don't know if that's true, but this thing is really fast on the street, I can only imagine how it is on the sand! This thing is a little hard to start like any other highly modified motor, but once you get it down, it's pretty easy. You do have to be in descent shape to ride this thing cause it will kick your A$$! Like I said, nothing is stock on this quad. Everything is either anodized or chromed in the paint scheme of Red, black, white and chrome. Everything is custom down to the nuts and bolts. Custom handle bars, lights, a-arms (extended), frame, suspension, swingarm (extended), grips, exhaust and even the custom seat cover. The seat cover is a mix of leather, suede and other material. It has custom Bead Locker wheels and really nice sand tires for both front and rear (it also comes with the brand new street/dirt tires and used rims I put on for just riding around). I have done as much as I can to accurately describe this quad. I'm sure there is some stuff I missed, SO PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
