1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Coupe 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Coupe in all original, unmolested condition. This 79 Continental was ahead of its time and the benchmark for American luxury cars. The Mark V with the designer package takes it a few steps further. It boasts a standard 400 V8 with Automatic transmission. Both work flawlessly with no leaks or issues of any kind. This car starts right up, purrs like a kitten, and drives strong as ever with ice cold AC to boot. Besides the Designer edition option which added interior luxury feautres such as Cartier gauges, the only other option available for the '79 Mark V was a sunroof, which this car also has! Being ahead of its time, this car features all power options including power windows, locks, seats, and sunroof, cruise control, and a luxurious interior. This car is unique because although it could use some repairs to be a show car, it has not been messed with and everything works! It runs and drives absolutely perfect, all the lights, gauges, and power options work, even the original paint buffed out nicely after a full detail including clay bar treatment. I still even have the original owner's manual, spare tire, and jack. Since this is a complete, original classic that has not been ruined by its previous owner, it truely has the potential to be a 100% show car with very little work. I've attatched the NADA value for this vehicle which ranges from $5,876 on the low side to $24,555 for one in excellent condition. The odometer currently reads 78992 and is in perfect working condition however somewhere along the way this car recieved an exempt odometer status, probably because of its age and the fact that it has a 5-digit odometer, however, it is very plausable based off its condition that these miles are accurate.
