Vehicle Detail
1983 Chevy Chevette Coupe project car. I drove this car for a year then decided I wanted some more motor. I got the car 70-80% done and I just lost interest. I’ve picked up some more hobbies and need to get rid of this car to make some more room in the garage. Reserve is low, I have a couple grand into it but I am a realist and know that I’ll get nowhere near what I have in it. I’d prefer you arrange to pick up the car but I could deliver within 50 miles of 17702 for $1.00 per loaded mile. I have a notary right down the road who is open almost anytime for title transfers. Non-refundable deposit of $500 through Pay-pal within 48 hours after auction closes. I want this car to go to someone who will use it and have some fun with it. It's doing no good just sitting in the garage. I will not take it back if you decide after a few weeks that you don't like it. All sales are final and no warranties. If you have questions, ask! The good list: 200CID V6 (3.3L) freshened up with a Crower Beast cam and Bowtie intake —Electric Fuel Pump —500CFM Holley 2-Barrel Carburetor —Aluminum Short Water Pump —Electric Cooling Fan--19" X 21" X 2.5" Aftermarket Aluminum Radiator —Billet Pulley Set —7.5” 10 Bolt S-10 Rear with Disk Brakes (can't remember ratio) —15” X 7” Chrome Rear Wheels match the 13” X 6” Wheels up front —Battery relocated to rear corner of hatch —New Rear Springs —3” Auto Gage Tachometer —Custom Built Hood Scoop —Custom Built Headers with Wrap —High Torque Mini-Starter —Interior is in pretty good shape, Head liner sags a bit though. The bad list: Carburetor is too big I think (The motor hesitates a bit before accelerating when punching the throttle under load) I have a 350CFM Holley 2-Barrel I will include—350 Turbo Transmission needs work (Takes some time to lock up in reverse and shifts up too quick)—Rear tires rub fender-wells when cornering—Front chin spoiler is broke on passenger side--Speedometer cable quit, not sure what happened there. Rear brake line needs a residual pressure valve to maintain some fluid in the rear disks, I have it here and it will go with. On Sep-20-12 at 14:14:16 PDT, seller added the following information:I have just been informed that this is not a "Scooter" model. I am told this is a "S" sport model trim package. I never did research on the chevettes so I went with what my buddy told me. If this causes any issues let me know before bidding. Thanks
