Email me! OK now for the car description... This car is LARGE and IN CHARGE! If you want to be noticed, then this is the car for you. Constant waves and thumbs up while driving. And just try to get gas without someone asking what year is that, etc. It is recently out of storage of a retired car collector who had over 40 cars and ready for a new owner. Car is equipped with EVERY OPTION OFFERED THAT YEAR!! POWER Everything along w/ -Air Conditioning -RARE twilight centennial lights -Cruise control -RARE Front BUCKET Seats W/ POWER Passenger Head Rest!! I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car has been very well taken care of and with same owner since 1978. First time offered since the Seventies Vehicle Condition: Interior: -Rare GG CODE interior (Light IVY GOLD Bucket seats) -Seats and carpet are in good/average condition. -Leather has cracks in front seat. (To be right, I would recover them) But they are good driver condition as is. (See Photos) -Dashboard is in good condition with minor separation by speaker grill about 3 inches in length, otherwise very nice. -Windows are in need of some window switches and cleaned to function properly. Mainly from just sitting in dry storage they have to be cleaned. Window motors do function. Top: -Perhaps MOST IMPORTANT!! The TOP and DECK LID on this car work perfect from BOTH switches in-dash or out back by gas tank switch!! -Top canvas is in average condition with no tears. Top appears to be original. -Complete Top Functions were gone over by Lincoln Mechanic and fully serviced the hydraulics/ relays. Complete deck raising and lowering, top up and down work great. (Quite a sight to see it in action!) -Rear lower part of top Canvas has some minor shrinkage around the edges by rear window. No holes in top. -Rear window glass is good. Exterior: Car is painted a VERY RARE Z CODE Florentine Gold Metallic. It is like a very pale metallic greenish gold color. Colors on these cars make a world of difference and this one stands out. Not many Florentine Gold Convertibles left in this condition! Screams 1960s era -Paint condition in my opinion would be driver+ quality. Expect a minor chip or so but over all Very nice and retains a great deep shine. It was repainted roughly 10 years ago in the original color using a Base Coat Clear Coat and has plenty of Clear Coat on it to shine! We just had the exterior fully polished and it looks great and feels super smooth to the touch. -Bumpers are very nice. No rust and Chrome has no pitting and a Great Shine. -Car shows no signs or rust underneath or on body. (See photos) -Super wide white wall tires have about 65% tread life remaining but are old and we recommend a new set for safety before driving long distances. My opinion is... this car is ready to be enjoyed as is and tinker as you go on the minor details. Current replaced Parts: -Fully Serviced Top Functions. Works Great -Brand new Fuel Pump -Brand New Dual exhaust from Manifolds back including mufflers replaced last year -New Alternator -Oil Change/Filter last week -Car starts right up, drives smooth and power brakes work good AGAIN... ALL Top HYDRAULICS AND DECK LID WORK PERFECTLY. What car needs per Safety/Vehicle Inspection performed 9/10/12 - Window Switch servicing - Interior light switch sticks on Rear Driver side Door leaving int. lights on - A/C Freon Re-Charge - Brake light bulb replaced, driver side - Tire are old and should be replaced due to age or rubber Overall this car is in Great Condition Please feel free to email with questions and to setup an inspection of the car.
