1959 Ford 1 ton first year of the Four wheel drive! This truck is rare! I saw one on ebay sell for $6100 last week look it up under completed items it was a 1960 Ford 4x4 not even the first year of the four wheel drive and not half as solid and nice as this one! This truck has huge potential, and runs and drives. Has what I believe to be a 390 V8 I was told it by the previous owner it was a 427 side oiler, however I am not selling it as one! I dont believe it to be, and really doubt it is. It could be a 428? I dont know to be honest. But It is a great running motor that has recently had a tune-up and fires right up and purrs! Plenty of power and the motor really is a solid great running motor. The truck is a 4 speed manual that shifts ok, but currently has a leak in the slave cylinder, and so you have to double pump her sometimes. Also in third gear syncros grind a little. The truck is very solid, has solid floors, solid rockers, solid bed, solid cab, there really isnt any cancer I have found on the truck. All the glass is good, all the lights work great, gauges seem to work good except temp gauge. The four wheel drive works great. Clean title in hand. The vin# is F10J9R30780 The truck is mostly straight. Also the truck has newer Nylon Hummer wheels and tires that look real sharp! Spent about $500 bux on hub extenders getting the wheels and tires to fit. All in all this is a complete solid old 1959 that is worth some big bucks restored!
