Hello, I am selling off one more of my Edsels. I was told it had a rebuilt engine about 100 or 200 miles before it was parked, but I have no way to verify that. It was last registered in 1988 and was parked due to the teletouch shifter quitting (shifter removed and no sign of it around). It was stored all that time in a pole barn. This car has no title but I can get one for you with about a month of waiting and what ever DMV deems the charges to be. While getting the title it can be stored at no charge. W8UF726464 58B MEE D 23A 4 A We hooked up a electric fuel pump to a 5 gallon can to see if it ran, and it does. It has some noises coming from the valve train, but I think that might go away. It was only ran for about 2 minutes before we shut it down and videoed it running. The carb is very leaky so we could only touch the power onto the fuel pump a couple seconds at a time. Looks like new exhaust before it was parked, it is currently single but it has the heat shield from being a dual factory exhaust car. Was repainted in the mid 80's and upholstered then also, needs both again, or looks decent to cruise around in, lots of Patina!!! I have an ignition key, no other keys. All glass is good, except back window was broke out, I have one to go with the car. Tail lights in fair condition, has cracks etc. No radio in the dash currently, I have one I'll through into the back seat. Has some rust here and there, mostly solid, see photos. Floors are really nice, Battery tray is missing, area around it is rusted pretty bad on the inner fender. same inner fender as a 57-58 Ford The car is in Oak Hills CA 92344 but can be picked up in Covina as well.
