This 69 Camaro is like new, it drives and handles excellent. The headers and Flowmaster exhaust gives it that muscle car sound and when you shift, it pins you back in the seat. This Camaro has all the SS items and the trim tag shows it as an X11, however the original motor is gone and there is no documentation to show it as a true SS, so I have it priced accordingly. This car is rust free and retains it’s original sheetmetal, floors, quarters, doors, etc… It was z-barted when new and I guess that stuff works as this car is proof. The previous owner had owned the car since 1978 and did most of the restoration. He started the resto about 6 years ago and I finished it up. The paint was done 6 years ago and still has a nice shine. The paint has very few imperfections and the car is straight with great panel alignment. There is Zero rust, no bubbling anywhere and is ready for any show. The chrome and stainless are all new along with the emblems. The motor is a 1970 396/402 and is pretty much stock with the exception of a mild cam, headers, aluminum intake and Holley carb. It was just rebuilt and has approx 300 miles on her, she is very strong. The tranny is a Doug Nash 4 speed and shifts excellent. These trannies are known to be bullet proof. The rear is a rebuilt 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears. The car has power disc brakes(all new). New gas tank, sending unit, new fuel lines, new shocks, leaf springs, traction bars, etc...I have many more photo's just contact me and I will get them to you. The interior has the original headliner which is still in good shape, new dash, new door panels, new carpet, seats are all good, new AM/FM stereo. All the gauges work, dome light, wipers, horn, directional, lights and door locks. Even the key buzzer works. Like I said at the beginning this is a great Camaro that is a blast to drive. The body is original and rust free which is very rare with a 43 year old car. The only reason I’m selling is to finish another project. The reserve is set low and someone is going to get a great buy.
