I am selling this car for my girlfriend. This is what I know. 1978 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible in good condition. Engine was replace in 2008. At that time it had 16,795 miles. Has been garage kept & taken out only during summer months. Recently (10/21/11) installed Rear Air Schrode and Dual Carbs and Manifold. Also, Installed new Starter on 7/24/12. Still has the original running boards, restored in 2007-2008 very little rust .Floor pans in great condition.Tires in good condition. Top was replace in 2008, as well as new carpet, new vinyl seats (front & back). The passenger side panel has a dent.You can drive this car anywhere.Most VW enthusiast say that the '77 - '79 were the best models made.It is a head turner causing many smiles, waves, honks, and thumbs up from strangers. My 20 year old son was home from college this summer and loved to drive this car. It was a chick magnet.One of the few classics that actually gets good mileage.
