Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my rust free, period correct, 1977 911s. This 911 has traveled 89,000 miles in its lifetime and has been loved the whole way. All rust prone areas look great due to a regular rust proofing regimen as well as not being driven during the winter months. I have owned this car for 3 years and it has never failed to start on the first turn of the key. Stack of receipts come with this Porsche. Most notable an engine out service at 62k miles that past owner upgraded engine to Carrera hydrolic chain tensioners, new head studs and pop-off valve. Clutch job done at 74k miles. Regular valve adjustments and I have fed it only Brad Penn oil. When I bought it three years ago the oil return tubes did not leak (records show 911 always received Castrol 20w-50, but after switching to Brad Penn, they now weep. Tires were replaced at 72k. Car received a valve adjustment under my ownership. Thermal reactors are longs gone and a Dansk Stainless Steel exhaust has been added. Car does come with original exhaust. Cars original paint job received some paint work from http://www.zeroto60garage.com/Main2.htm due to a “key job” on left quarter. Only decklid, quarter panels and bumper were resprayed. They were blended into the doors and look great. The rest of this 911 is completely original (minus heater controls and audio deck) As noted, this 911 comes with the M590 comfort pack which added Bilstein shocks, 14” Fuchs and Electric windows. I have been told this is a rare option. I will let the pictures speak for themselves and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Reserve is price well below market value. Thanks for viewing. There is no rust present, just road grime and old glue, but there are a few minor blemishes and stone chips on the front valence and hood that have been touched up. Let me know if you have any additional questions. On Sep-11-12 at 15:50:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Some additional requested pictures of front suspension tub. Again, No rust present, just some paint discoloration areas. I put the battery mat in the car when I bought the 911 3 years ago and there is absolutely no rust under the battery. Let me know if you have any questions.
