Vehicle Detail
This is a very nice 2-owner, Super Silver, p-type, 5-speed 1985 Toyota Supra. Mileage is correct, I have the carfax. I also have the window sticker and bill of sale from the original owner, it was a southern California car, now it’s here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is NO rust on this car, it still has the original exhaust and it’s in great shape! All the exterior trim is still tight to the body, the paint is original and in good to very good condition except both bumpers, they have been repainted and a very high-quality job was done. The tires are P225/60r14 Yokohama Avid S/T with almost 5000 miles on them. The car is very original, but I do have an aftermarket intake, front strut bar and Dobinson lowering springs on it. The stock intake and springs will come with the car. I have replaced the shocks and struts with KYBs, put in new OEM rear spring insulators and front upper strut mounts. Over the last two years OEM Toyota parts were used to change the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, every belt including the timing belt and timing belt tensioner, front oil seals, water pump, crank bolt, fuel pump, thermostat, radiator cap, upper and lower radiator hoses, and cold start injector. I have changed the brake, clutch and power steering fluids, the coolant is fresh Toyota red. Fuel pressure regulator was replaced, had to use an aftermarket part on that though. The valve covers are freshly powder coated and I put new OEM gaskets in underneath them. The floormats are OEM, but they are not original to the car. Alternator has been rebuilt and the battery is only a few years old and is still very strong. Passes emissions with flying colors. This Supra runs, shifts(I have replaced the shifter bushing) and drives great - super smooth on the highway. Accelerates as well as the stock 5M can. Occasionally on cold starts is requires a few cranks, but otherwise it has no running issues. Everything works, even the A/C, but it only holds a Freeze-12 charge for a month or so. It currently needs to be recharged. There are a few exterior flaws, not very noticeable and they can be improved, except for the dent in the ceiling. It’s from a golf ball many years ago, I have had it looked at and it cannot be repaired without doing major work so I elected to leave it alone. The interior has a couple small cigarette burns from the original owner too. I can get you any additional pictures you want, don’t hesitate to ask. You can call me cell phone with questions 3-zero-4-six-1-seven-6-six-4-eight.On Sep-10-12 at 21:13:04 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a very nice 2-owner, Super Silver, p-type, 5-speed 1985 Toyota Supra.
