Hello and thanks for looking at my 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon, here we again listed car before and got close to reserve but didn't quite get there so the reserve is lowered.The winning bidder with definitely not be disappointed, it's a beautiful unmolested original rust free car with factory 455 engine. The car runs great and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly, just as smooth and straight at 25 mph as at 75mph. The exterior has nice white paint with a red half vinyl roof, 455 and Salon badges on both sides and trunk lid. Doors open and close properly with no sag, trunk and hood line up nicely, Oldsmobile rally wheels with beauty rings and white letter tires, even has full size rally wheel spare and jack. The interior is a vibrant red velour with front bucket seats( very comfortable) the rear seat is like sitting on sofa, the seats are in great shape except for one small imperfection where the shoulder belt comes over the drivers seat, small tear (see photo) There are no cracks in the dash and all gauges, lights,and warning buzzers work, and yes the AC does work! Factory cluster ( fuel, oil pressure, temperature) and speedometer. Tilt steering wheel, floor counsel and automatic floor shift. There is a small tear in the carpet about a little over an inch or so on the drivers side compartment, comes with Oldsmobile/ Cutlass carpeted floor mats. Factory AM/FM radio works great. Engine compartment is extremely clean with factory chrome air cleaner, hood latches and releases work good and hood opens and closes correctly. Trunk is rust free ( looks like new) has full size spare tire with jack and floor mat, opens, closes and locks properly even has an operating trunk light. Over all this is a great all around rust free collector car that runs well and will only increase in value over time. I do have some service records from the previous owner showing that it was originally from the west coast. I have described the car to the best of my ability it really is a great looking and cruising car. Thank you again for your interest!
