This is my Rodeo. I am the original owner. I bought it new in January 2000 at a dealership in Woodland Hills, California. It has been a very dependable ride over the years. Still is. I have had a 60-mile commute each day for the past five years. It's never been smoked in. I did scrape a parking deck column. See the pics. It would be perfect for someone on a tight budget who is just starting out, like in high school or college, or just makes short trips around town. If you need a beater or a fishin' car, this might be it. Known Issues - The transmission was replaced at approximately 150K miles. I have docmentation. - The air conditioner works, but is making noise. The freon has never been re-charged, so this could be the issue. - The fuel gauge doesn't work correctly. If you check Rodeo forums, you'll find that this is very common for this model. I have used the tripometer to determine when to fill up for years. - The driver's side front quarter panel has damage. I scraped a column at a parking deck. Cosmetic only. - There is a soft rattling on the underside of the vehicle. My mechanics have never mentioned the cause. Been that way for years. - The reservoir for the windershield wiper is cracked, and therefore won't hold any fluid. - It burns a little bit of oil Benefits - Reliable transporation. Engine runs strong. - No leaks: oil, transmission fluid, break fluid, power sterring fluid, etc. - Tested and confirmed 20 mpg on the highway. Very respectable for its age - Rear tires are good. Front tires are very good. - Power windows and doors work fine - The vehicle is wired for custom audio. Includes Pioneer head unit (AM/FM/CD/MP3), crossovers, component speakers, and complete wiring. Subs and amps have been removed. - Old and a bit scratched, but effective window tint This is a no reserve auction. Local pickup only.
