For sale is a 1966 A code 4 barrel 289 mustang fastback. This car is that is a perfect project for someone because it is 99% complete. I have owned a few mustangs, and it is rare on a project car to have the dome light and turn signals still work (these still work on this car). I poured some gas down the carb and the engine started for a few seconds. If you pump the brakes a few times, they even work. With a little bit of work, a fresh fuel system and bleeding out the brakes, i think this car would lot drive (not on the road). This car was a running and driving car up until 2003. All of the interior, glass and trim is there and in place in the car. The original door tag is present on the drivers door, the fender apron has a nice clear stamping on it, and I have a clear title in hand for the car. With that said, this car will need some rust repair, the front frame rails and shock towers appear solid. The car will need floor work, rear frame rail work, inner and outer wheel well work, quarter skins, and trunk floor work. This car have a ding in the passenger side of the tail light pan, because the car was backed into accidentally. The good news about that, is it will all be replace during the restoration, I just wanted to make the new buyer aware of it. The trunk lid does not appear to have any damage.
