1972 Detomaso Pantera - Rebuilt FORD 351 Cleveland / Rebuilt ZF 5 Speed I am selling this vehicle for a friend, whose wife has had a heart attack. This is a West Coast Pantera, but is now located in Columbus, Ohio. This is a 3 owner driver, Detomaso Pantera (VIN- THPNMD04046). Engine was rebuilt with three angle valve job, balanced and all new internal components. Water pump, alternator, distibutor, starter, belts, hoses were all replaced at time of rebuild. New clutch assembly was fitted and shifts smoothly into all gears. Paint has some scratches and two small dents on passenger side fender. There has been no collision or panel replacement on this car. Very solid original body and frame. There are some small rust spots on rockers, but nothing major. The undercarriage is still in factory undercoating and there are no rust or soft spots. The spring towers, frame rails, and floor pans are all in excellent condition and solid. The interior seats and back panel were reupolstered (not original), but are in good condition. All of the guages work with the exception of fuel gauge and wipers. Headlights and power windows work and go up and down. The cooling system has had radiator replaced. All but one fan is in working condition. The front windshield was replaced and looks new. Other glass and trim are in good/excelent condition. Bumpers are all there, but could use rechrome/replacements. Brakes need work, but are functional. Tires have a good amount of tread, but should be replaced. Carb was recently rebuilt. Fuel filter, oil filter and oil were replaced. This is a great driver with a lot of speed. It does need TLC and some replacement of interior parts. Carpet is in resonable condition with no rips. Radio is not installed, but does come with the car. I have spare tire/rim and cover. Tools kit and jack are also with car. This is a great opportunity to get a very solid, driveable classic that will only appreciate over time!!!!!!! There is no warranty or return of car once you are the winning bidder.
