Solid 1985 300TDT Mercedes Wagon. The original Turbo Diesel. This car is a daily driver, not perfect but in overall good condition for the age with a few things that can be fixed, or left as they are. Has many recent new parts. I try to be as clear about the condition as possible. Here is the good and the not so perfect: The good: 1) recently replaced battery, newish radio with CD player2) recently replaced front brakes discs, brake pads, and brake lines3) recently replaced radiator4) recently replaced pre-glow relay5) recently replaced newly upholstered front seat 6) recently replaced air suspension bags7) recently replaced timing chain8) recently replaced driver and front passenger window motor and mechanics9) very recently replaced diesel shut off valve 10) very recently replaced H4 main lights11) no cracks in dashboard12) regular oil changes The not so perfect: 1) Small ding on rear hatch door (fixed with rust bullet)2) rear wiper not working3) AC needs a refill4) emergency light relay needs replacement5) interior needs a little TLC around doors, some textile glue will do wonders, but seats are in fine condition, as are carpets, for a 27 year old car, please see the pictures. This car drives nicely and is more zippy than my 1995 6 Cylinder 300D. All work has been done at a workshop that is specialized in fixing Mercedes, the chief mechanic has 20+ years of experience. I spent over 3K in the past 2 years on the vehicle but I have 3 diesel cars, and one has to go. Please feel free to ask questions.On Sep-06-12 at 08:01:22 PDT, seller added the following information: 09/06/2012: I added a few pictures from under the car as far as I was able to reach, there is some surface rust but nothing that would be of concern, just need some rust remover and good protection. Also, I forgot two minor things that were also replaced in the past 2 years: 13) oil pan replacement 14) pre-heater element wire. The not so perfect: 6) Odometer works, but the day trip counter hangs sometimes (gets stuck at 009.9 miles once in a while) this is a thing of cleaning it, there are descriptions how to do this on some website.
