Vehicle Detail

This is a 1965 Dodge WM300 Powerwagon. It starts, runs and drives. Truck is running in all the pictures. It did its duty as a fire department brush truck in its younger years. It's the original 12 volt system. The transmission and transfer case work as they should as does the 4x4. It has the stock 251 flathead 6. It has locking hubs. Cluch is good. While the truck is moving and you disengage the clutch when coming to a stop it does make a slight rattling noise. It has the PTO on it and the lever in the cab however no winch. I do have a winch set-up off a 49 that I will make available to the winning bidder for an additional $500.00. Its complete except for the engagement handle. If you take the winch you'll need to make the frame extensions longer as well as the driveshaft as the front grill was extended out a couple inches when Dodge changed to the larger 251 motor. Both are available from Vintage Power Wagons as well. This also has power brakes which feel like they could put you thru the windshield! The brake pedal does stick some but I never bothered looking at it. The seat is original, the cab corners are solid, there is some small rust thru on the passener side and drivers side between the door sill and the diamond plate. Solid all around the holes so would be an easy fix. Rear fenders are solid, but have had bodywork done to them in the past. Front lips of the front fenders have rust thru, nut would be an easy repair. The gas gage does not work and I haven't looked at it and the original temperture gage doesn't work or was disconnected. There is a aftermarket gage hooked up and works fine. Interior light works, Lights work with the exception of either the right front hi or lo beam. Horn doesn't work and I haven't looked at it. Rear directionals work but the front ones are missing (the wires still run to the front grill where they were mounted. Heater works and neither it or the radiator have any leaks. Windshield is solid and cranks out as it should. Original seat is in good shape. Glass is original and good and the windows work as they should. The spotlight DID work, but I believe the beam blew one time when I was using it. The bed will need new wood at some point. The running boards have some rust thru where there was wood between the supports and the running boards. These should be to difficult to fix. But at present I can jump on either running board with all 230lbs and these things hardly move. Tires are have good tread, but also dry rot. Because this likly had some additional electrical stuff on it while it was a fire truck I would look at rewiring the truck at some point. This would be a good truck to run while you fix it up or for that matter run as is. This truck is being sold with a Bill of Sale and a copy of the current NH registration as NH does not title vehicles this old. The Bill of Sale and registration should be all you need to register it in your state, but please verify this yourself. Delivery is possible within a reasonable distance for an additional amount, but please work the details with me PRIOR to bidding. Ask all the questions you want PRIOR to bidding. Feel free and I would recommend that you stop by look at the truck and hear it run prior to bidding. I require a $500.00 deposit by Paypal within 48 hours of auction ending and the balance in cash within 7 days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. If you show up to pick up the truck within the 7 days and do not like what you see you can back out of the deal, without any problem and I will refund $300.00 of your $500.00 deposit, so please be sure prior to bidding. Thanks for looking
