Vehicle Detail
Here's my 2003 Evo VIII with a JDM IX conversion. This is a tastefully tuned example of one of THE fastest and MOST FUN cars out there! Upcoming wedding and new house force me to part with some toys. Mods: Volk LE 28 18x8.5 wheels ($4K) Tein coilovers upgraded brake rotors HKS turbo back ACT street / race clutch (great feel, not too stiff or too fluffy) Vishnu piggy back ecu and flash (dyno'd at 305 hp,298 tq on 93 oct and 40-50 more on 110 octane at 19psi, speed limiter removed) Kartboy shifter Binary seat lowering brackets (makes great driving experience difference!) Defi boost gauge Defi controller box (I've never used it lol) Evo IX front front bumper conversion JDM rear bumper REAL JDM evo VII taillights HID's Rexspeed carbon fiber rear spoiler carbon fiber interior dash pieces Kenwood DNX dvd unit with Garmin GPS built in walbro 255 fuel pump shorty antenna gutted trunk razo wide rear mirror professionally installed tint (around 35% front / sides) evo IX bov Viper alarm with remote start (remote start has been disabled for safety reasons being a manual, but could be re activated) New starter The car is being sold as is with no warranty. Not looking for trades. Title in hand *I have the stock "high" carbon fiber wing too. Winning bidder gets their choice of that or the carbon fiber deck spoiler. The stock wing is in excellent condition. Will update with a pic by Saturday. *Added pics of underside from several questions about how much rust it has. I don't see any rust or rot concerns underneath. It's spent most of its life in southern California and after that owner brought it to southern VA I bought it. It's spent every winter since in a heated garage (wasn't daily driver). As far as I know this car has NEVER seen salt. I don't usually drive it in the rain since it means I'd be cleaning it again :)
