I am selling a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL convertible for my mother. My father passed away and this was one of his vehicles. I am not sure about all the details on the vehicle. I know that he had the engine rebuilt before he died. I was told it cost $3000 and the shop that rebuilt it told me that they did everything internal new, plus bored the cylinders. I have drove the for over 600 miles since I removed it from storage. Tires are in decent condition. This is a Wisconsin vehicle that was rusty. It was repaired more as a driver, but it could become a very nice car. I took it to Iola and learned that it has some rare options especially together. It has a reclining passenger front seat, power windows, and column shifter. The car runs and drives wonderfully. Convertible top needs to be repaired or most likely replaced. Great winter project. $500 deposit. Please don't bid unless you know what you are buying. Ask questions and I will do my best to answer them.
