This is the 1978 Motor Trend car of the year. As you can tell, she's been very well taken care of. I am the second owner of this car. It has been garaged since day one and rarely driven. Everything on the car is all original. I bought it with roughly 38,000 miles. I have always kept it in the garage and NEVER driven it in the snow/winter/salty roads. There is minor surface rust on some small areas and I hope the pictures will show just that. I have only driven this car on the highway as it averages 27mpg (Champaign to Chicago and back and she has never disappointed me or left me stranded). I have not clocked in town gas mileage. I still drive the car on occasion so the actual odometer reading will be slightly more than advertised here. As shown in the pictures, I have 2 key blanks, a copy of the 1978 motor trend car magazine, a shop manual, original owners manuals, and a model car (woot woot). There are no major blemishes on the seats and minor stains on the carpeting. I drive it with all weather floor mats. On the exterior, there are minor blemishes on the clear coat on the hood and again, minor surface rust in small areas. Recent repairs consist of timing adjustment, new timing belt, new muffler and 2 oil changes since purchasing this car. This thing has an incredible heater and air conditioning system. The hydraulic lifts that support the hatch will need to be replaced (see prop rod in pictures). The back seat folds down and is great for hauling cargo. The front seats do not recline but can move backwards and forwards. The wheel alignment on this car is perfect! At 75 mph it holds very true to a straight line. The tires also have plenty of tread left. This is a solid running fun car and a real head turner! Many mistake it for a fiat, saab, gremlin, ...many other random cars. I have had many people offer me cash on the spot as soon as they see it. However, I am selling this car on ebay motors because I want to get a great price and see it go to an individual who will continue to take care of this rare gem.
