I offer my 1979 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider. This is a very reliable driver that is in above average condition. I purchased this from a fellow on Hilton Head Island a few years back. We've been to Amelia Island with it as well as several trips to the Blue Ridge Pkwy. We've cruised 3 to 4hr stretches without issues. Its always garaged and driven on nice days only. Other projects beckon and its time to part with it. Starting with the engine, upgrades include dual Weber carbs, headers, Ansa exhaust, Crane electronic ignition. Bosch coil. 5 spd trans was rebuilt by Dean Russel. It has brand new Pirrelli P-4's and new front brakes. The starter has an occasional glitch,but a couple of turns of the key and it engages. The interior is very nice with one area of split stitching on the passenger seat surface. I use black duct tape on this and its barely noticeable. The sheepskins (cool in the summer warm in the winter) cover it anyway. Custom made Cocoa floor mats. It has a Pioneer stereo with 4 speakers, but I've never used it (drowns out the beautiful sound of the engine!). All gauges work, as well as heater and wipers. The top is new and in good working order. There is a boot as well. I have a case full of manuals and related books that go with it. The paint is decent but has thin spots and a little bubbling is beginning to show on the passenger side front fender edge. There are some small door dings and a stone chip in the windshield on the passenger side( This has been filled). As you can see, an older rear chrome bumper has been added. I tweeked it a little backing out of the garage, but its easily fixable. Headlights, taillights brake and blinkers work fine. A $500.00 deposit is required 24 hrs. after the close of the auction.
