Relisting due to non-payment. Selling Locally as well and reserve the right to end early. Selling AS-IS. I am leaving all past postings to give as much info as posibble. Up for sale is a very solid 1992 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with 338,000 original miles. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. The Good: 4WD Works Great A/C Blows Cold Has recent tune up and transmission has been replaced as well as clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder. The Bad: ENGINE NEEDS WORK. In more detail, two weeks prior truck drove like a dream and didn't use any oil. The oil had recently been changed. While driving I started noticing a lack of power and by the third day the engine starting making noise and was hard to start. The engine never once overheated. After pulling the dipstick there was no oil. I topped off the oil and put some stuff called lucas in that my brother recommended to stop the noise but it just got worse and worse. I drove it for 4 more days until making arangements for another vehicle. Truck will still start, run, and drive but I don't recommend it. I don't have the money to get it fixed and I dont have the time or knowledge to fix it myself. When it runs it has a single tat tat tat tat sound. These trucks are super tough and run forever. I wish I could keep it but I can't afford the expense .I'm the third owner and have owned it for more then 8 years. Will Need an Alignment Tires Need Replacing Battery Needs Replacing On Jun-06-12 at 05:28:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I've gotten a few questions about the condition of the undercarriage. I've posted some new pictures pertaining to this. Overall the undercarriage is in exceptional condition given the history of these trucks and rusting out. I did remember a few more things while I was under there. The rear bumper had been replaced a little more then a year ago as well as the section of the exhaust including the muffler and tailpipe after the converter. I also forgot to mention that the truck has a sunroof and it is fully operational. The worst of the rust on the frame is on the tow hitch itself probably because I often pulled a small 16' crapboat and rear got wet time to time. The spare is pretty rusted as well. I also took a picture of the front undercarriage and it looks like an apparent oil leak on the passenger side of the engine from the picture. On Jun-06-12 at 10:56:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm trying to be completely honest here so If I notice something I will keep updating as necessary. With that said there is a problem with the passenger side door key switch. The key slot is damaged and will need a new key switch which is a very cheap simple fix but noticed while taking recent pictures this morning. The door operates correctly and will unlock with the power locks or from the inside but the key will not go into the slot and manually open the door from the outside. On Jun-07-12 at 07:35:02 PDT, seller added the following information: A few people were asking about trailering the truck with a dolly and were curious about the condition of the bolts to remove the rear driveshaft. I've added a picture of such bolts and everything is solid. On Jun-07-12 at 11:21:14 PDT, seller added the following information: A few people have been asking about the title issue due to the history report. I don't know what issue it is referring to. I bought this truck in 2003 registered it in my name and have a clear accurate title in my name with no liens or errors what so ever. On Jun-07-12 at 12:17:29 PDT, seller added the following information: People have been asking me to describe the sounds the engine makes. I've uploaded a link to a brief demonstration. I hope this helps. http://www.youtube.com/embed/owiIeJ4tS0w On Sep-06-12 at 07:10:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I will not accept any 0 feedback bidders.
