Vehicle Detail

This is a near immaculate 1999 Toyota LandCruiser that I am only the second owner of. It has been almost exclusively dealership serviced and maintained. The physical and mechanical condition of the vehicle is excellent and needs nothing. Clean car fax, never wrecked, smoked in, etc. The car has no leaks of any sort or other issues either. The timing belt was changed as scheduled, and the tires have less than 5k miles on them. Brakes, hoses, battery, etc. all in great shape. There are no rips or tears what so ever in the interior as the pics show. The carpet is very clean as well. This model has the sought after front diff lock. It is a true land crusher when it comes to reliability and reputation. They never break and you really cant kill these things. I have had a new job change and my wife has a SUV (a Sequoia) and we no longer need 2, thus the sale of this one because the Sequoia is bigger. The only issues that I know of are several door dings, as would be expected for a vehicle that is 13 years old, one small hail mark on the hood that I cant even get in a picture, and the shocks that hold the hood up fail to do so sometimes when the hood is raised and you are looking at the engine compartment. Because you rarely ever have to, unless to clean it when detailing, I never bothered to fix it . The original owner was a doctor in Boston, thus the service at the dealership. Because it spent time up north, it does have some surface rust on the undercarriage. I took a pic to show. It has been treated and the entire undercarriage sprayed as a safety precaution. It poses no threat or safety concern. It is just something you should be aware of if you plan to buy without seeing-as I did almost 4 years ago and was aware and it has not been an issue at all. But I know some are leery of that and I don't want any surprises for the buyer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. I will answer them as thorough ally and as honestly as I can. I buy all of our cars on ebay so I am well aware what it is like and how crucial communication is between the buyer and seller. I will do whatever I can to aid in shipping, but I cannot deliver personally since my job does not allow such time away from my responsibilities. Good luck-this will make a fantastic vehicle for someone with years of more reliable and dependable service ahead I am sure. **(Those pics came out really small, I will try to enlarge. Also, listing locally and reserve the right to end auction before hand if sells locally. -Thanks)**On Aug-29-12 at 14:15:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I tried to upload a few more pics due to the small size of the others. Ebay doesn't allow me to add more than 24, and I cannot remove to add once there has been a bid. You can see better pictures of the vehicle at: http://jackson.craigslist.org/cto/3237903418.html. Thanks again. On Aug-30-12 at 12:39:32 PDT, seller added the following information: A few other quick things. I noticed a noise when I was driving this morning and swung by my mechanic. He said though they still work fine, there is something in the interior of the front left shock that is starting to wear down and thus causing what I heard when I went over the bump. He said they should be replaced because they are the originals-though they still function fine. If a noise doesn't bother you, your fine. If it does, you'll need a set of shocks in the front. Please keep that in mind. If you have bidded and this effects your bid, please let me know and I will be happy to cancel your bid for you. Several of you have asked about the following and I thought I would answer them at once. I do have 2 sets of keys for the cruiser (the 350.00 ones) that have the alarm and remote door locks on the keys themselves. Both keys work to the vehicle, but only one set works as far as the remote and alarm. There was only one when I bought it and it did not work, so I bought a brand new one a few years ago from Toyota when I purchased the vehicle. And yes, it does have the towing package and rear air with adjustable controls as well. Please keep the questions coming so that I can be sure to give you the most accurate information about the cruiser. Thanks again for looking and asking. On Sep-01-12 at 19:25:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The Rear Diff is what locks, not the front. I know some older models had both, and the newer ones did not. Mine is the Rear Locking and Not the front (that is the one more sought after if your going to use it). You can see how often I have!
