I will do a Buy it now for a serious buyer and reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. ~This is a beautiful 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. 2 owners, Dry Life long California car! Rebuilt 1600 4spd. Never hit. Perfect rust free pan. She's never seen a day of bad weather or a salty road in her life. All original books and manuals. Still retains both of her original blue and yellow Cali license plates. A true California classic! ~The body is very straight! Doors shut nicely. Paint shows very well but is older. It's had one repaint in its life to the original color. The pan is as nice as you will find. Completely rust free! The nose is perfect! ~The car runs and drives very well! I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country today! I don't know if I would make it but the car definitely would! Starts right up with no smoke, leaks or funny noises. Transmission shifts super smooth. No popping out of gear or grinding. Clutch is good. Brakes are good. Just hop in and go! ~The interior is in fair condition. Show some wear from over the years. Carpet looks original and is faded. Door panels are perfect! Instruments are nice. Dash pad has a cover over it. Top is older and looks good. It has no rips or tears and works fine. Hard glass back window. ~These good old unmolested, rust free Ghia's are getting very difficult to find. This is a really good car! ~TERMS OF SALE - non refundable $1,000 deposit due 24 hours after auction ends. Car needs to be paid for in full within 3 days. I will do everything I can to make this a pleasant buying experience but PLEASE do not bid on it if you do not intend to buy it or if you do not have your finances in order. Its not cheap to sell cars on eBay and it just wastes everyone’s time. Shipping is buyers responsibility but I will be happy to assist if you like.
