Vehicle Detail
Available for you today, a 1948 DeSoto 4 Door Coupe collector car in very good, truly original condition with minor imperfections. This car captures the true essence of the 1940's styling with its large chrome grille, stylish wood-grained interior and wide white wall tires and is priced to sell with no reserve. It features a strong engine and transmission, solid body, solid floors, newly rebuilt brakes front and rear, and newly rebuilt original fuel pump. De Soto's inline 6 cylinder engine with Fluid Drive transmission makes for a smooth ride. This 49000 mile engine cranks right up and purrs like a kitten. A true rare find with original paint, all original chrome, original upholstery, carpet and interior trim, and original engine with inspection stamps as though it just rolled off of the assembly line. Being the "Custom Model", it features outside sun visor, suicide doors, and original hub caps with trim rings. The dashboard, steering wheel, and wood grain are in excellent condition. Interior needs some upholstery work as shown to be perfect. Deposit by PayPal only. Buyer will arrange shipping and I will help out as much as possible. Only serious bidders please as I am in a tight, otherwise this car would never have been placed up for auction. Please call with any questions.
