This is a very nice old Datsun 2000 Roadster. I bought it a few years ago in Denver where it had been sitting in a garage since the mid 80's when the clutch went out. I believe from talking to the lady that had it before me that the 66k mileage is correct. I replaced the clutch, ground the valves, replaced the upper cam chain, tuned it up, new water pump, shocks, tires, kits in wheel cylinders, etc etc etc-whatever it needed to make it roadworthy, I did. The paint is a few years old and has some small blemishes but is generally very good. I replaced the seat covers, top, and carpet. I've had it on several 200 mile trips since then with no problems. The car is not a show car by any means but it looks great and drives well. I'm a foreign car mechanic with my own shop for over 20 years and I feel I can vouch for the mechanical integrity of this car. There are still small things that need to done such as a dash cover, radio that doesn't work, vinyl cover on the rear package tray, seat belts, a trunk detail but most of it is done. Look at the pictures of the underside of the car and you'll see the floors are in good condition. I've spent a ton of money on this car and I don't suppose I'll break even but I just bought a Boxster S with AC and power steering that suits my 64 year old body better so I need to sell the Datsun.
