I found this car a few months ago. The original owner purchased it new in 1979 and dented the fender in 1981 and parked it ever since. The car is all original with only 21k miles. I've replaced the tires, serviced the brakes engine and trans and added and new coat of paint in the original British racing green, Replaced the fuel pump, cleaned the fuel tank and system. Everything works aside from the fuel gauge and is original. The interior is all original and in near perfect shape. There is NO rust or rot of any kind. All floors, rockers, frame, trunk and quarters are perfect.Although the lower front valance is cracked off on the drivers side. I was going to replace it but havent gotten to it yet. Also the top is functional but is original and has seen better days. I never drive with it up but if your going to use it in colder weather I would replace it. It is a quality car and the most original MGB you will ever find. I have the original owners manual and the original boot and Tonneau Covers in perfect condition. they have never been put on or unfolded even the jack and tire iron are in the original packaging. call if youre interested 973 668-1338 the car is also for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early.
