This is a good, rust-free 1969 Porsche 912, long wheel base with the sought after 5-speed manual transmission. This 912 has spent its whole life in the dry Wyoming air. The original color of the car was a burgundy, the original owner had it painted purple for his wife, which looks nice when cleaned up. It runs and drives, but does needa little attention. It just had a tune-up done on the original engine, using high quality German parts. Spark plugs, cap, rotor, ignition cables, points, remanufactured cooling fan, set dwell, adjusted valves and changed oil. Also have new air filters for the original housings. Also cleaned fuel tank. Vehicle runs but rpms are high, carburetors needto be balanced and timing fine tuned still. Does have an oil leak from the lower oil plate. Also, the left front caliper is dragging and the brake hoses need changed due to swelling. I have a new caliper, stainless steel brake lines and some DOT 4 fluid that will be included in the sale along with a service manual. 912 also has new tires and 85,000 original miles, smoke free. Clear Wyoming title in hand. My wife and I have been blessed with our first child, a baby boy. I no longer have time to work on and enjoy my Porsche. Thank you for looking!
