Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL TO LISTING LOCALLY. I am selling this 1992 NON-TURBO 300zx 2+2. It is in good running condition. Like any 20 year old vehicle, it is not perfect. But it runs like a champ, and is a perfect project car, or daily driver! I recently did the timing belt service, which normally costs over $2k at the dealer. It included a new timing belt, all new camshaft seals and front main seal, new auto-tensioner, new pulleys, etc. It also has a very low mileage rear differential and mounts. It was very clunky before, and it engages and launches very smoothly now. Over $10k invested in this car, including new suspension, and all the service that has been done. All records have been saved. There are small imperfections here and there: the upholstery could use some upgrading, and some of the trim panels are chipping/peeling here and there. I have seen Z's newer than this one in far worse shape though! It cleans up nicely. I also had the big-brake calipers painted red and the nissan logo polished. Looks sharp! With regard to the body, there are the expected door dings here and there. The radio antennae doesn't always go up, but I believe this is an easy fix. The cruise control doesn't work. I do not know whats wrong with it. The factory stereo stopped working, so there is an aftermarket cd deck. The front bose speakers sound bad, so we just use the rear speakers. But it could benefit from new speakers. The paint looks decent, but there are imperfections. The rear bumper is quite faded. The metal trim around the windshield an T-tops has lost its paint somewhat. I have been very up front about the imperfections, but feel free to ask any questions. This car is all original. No mods, no swaps, unmolested. I sold my Honda s2000 on ebay a couple years ago, and the seller did not ask enough questions. He was not happy because it had an engine swap, but he didn't take the time to read the description. If you are the winner, I recommend you pay for a 3rd party inspection. It is inexpensive and worth it. Google it if interested. If you are thinking about buying this to convert to TT, it can be done easily and cheaply. I bought a JDM low-mileage TT motor for my last TT Z and it was only $2k shipped!
