Up for sale is a Classic rendition of the famed 356 Porsche Speedster. Professionally built CMC (Classic Motor Carriages) kit on a '68 VW chassis with a '71 1600cc engine, completed in 2003 by York Sports Cars of Ashland, Virginia. Car was completed to reflect the standard specifications of the original. 1600cc motor with dual Solex Kadron carbs. 8,200 miles since it was built. I am the original owner and it has always been garage kept. Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD receiver, wood steering wheel, tan bucket seats, convertible top with side curtains and zippered Tonneau cover. It is a simple car to maintain and a real joy to drive. Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping charges. Buyer must coordinate their own shipping from where the car is located in Bridgewater, NJ. There is a $1,000 deposit due within 24 hours of the auction ending. No Warranties whatsoever, sold as is.
