Vehicle Detail

This car was purchased in July 1980 as my son's car. We took it out of service in the late 80's as the brakes failed and we bought him another car to drive for college. My intent was to restore the vehicle. I pulled the engine and put the car in a barn for storage. After I retired, I rebuilt the engine, but that is as far as I got with the restoration. The project is more that I can do at this point in my life, so I have decided to give it over to someone that has a greater desire and more physically able. The car is very restorable but does have rust. The most significant rust is on the rear quarters, front floorboard on driver and passenger side, trunk floor, passenger side rocker panel area, rear deck just under the back glass and there is a small puncture hole in the roof (about 3/4' round). I rebuilt the engine and all machine work was done at a local automotive machine shop. The engine is matching number original. Cylinders are bored to .040 over and I installed the following new parts: Erson-PMB Power Cam (mild), standard lifters, Speed Pro Federal Mogul pistons (L2315F), Hastings rings (.040), PMB Performance timing set, Performance Clevite77 rod inserts (CB-527-P-10), Performance Clevite77 main bearings (MS-876P-10). Engine has the original 2bl intake and I have the original Carter carbuerator. I did not have the carb rebuilt because I was planning to replace it with a 4bl and new intake mainfold. Engine is on a stand and has not been installed in the car. Fender tag shows D32 transmission and the transmission number is PK2801543L 2505 4221. I have not been able to determine if this is the original transmission that came with the car from the factory. I am still working on that, and I will post any additional information I find. It is the transmission that was in the car when I bought it. All glass is intact and not broken. I think I have all of the parts that came off of the vehicle and are too numerous to list. Some of the significant are:A/C compressor, all four original wheels, power steering unit, all powertrain components. Description of vehicle, parts, condition, and authenticity are provided based on the best of my ability and knowledge of this vehicle. There is no intent on my part to misrepresent this vehicle, either by statement or omission. If you have any questions or hesitation, please contact me and I will diligently try to provide an answer. Ihave tried to show photos of the worst rust and damage, however, if you want additional pictures of any part of the car, better closeups, or have any questions that I have not covered here, please contact me as soon as possible. I very much want to satisfy your questions to the best of my ability. I want you to be a satisfied buyer as I take pride in my feedback. I want you to be as satisfied as if I were the buyer. I have set a Buy It Now price to expedite the sale and I have set a Reserve Bid that is lower than the Buy It Now price. Buyer is responsible for all costs involved with shipping or delivery of the vehicle. Deposit of $1000 is required within 24 hours of auction close and balance due with days. Deposit may be through Paypal. One half of the balance is due within 7 days and the remainder will be due upon pickup or shipment of the vehicle and must be in the form of a bank cashiers check, money order, or cash.
