Stunning 1979 Triumph Spitfire that has been expensively restored. The inclusion of air conditioning and cruise control is almost never seen in a Spitfire, it shows the extent that the previous owner went to create his ultimate car. Naturally he wanted the best performance so fitted a Weber carbureter to give the engine some extra pep. Overdrive was also a requirement for this gentleman so that he could drive in air conditioned comfort on the highway with the cruise control taking care of his speed. The upholstery was also replaced at this time. Take a look at the engine pictures to see the detail of the restoration , look also in the trunk, better than when it left England. The soft top was replaced and remains in excellent condition. This car is such a fun drive, its comfortable and equipped like no other Spitfire you will find. Before you ask, the overdrive, air conditioning and cruise are all working. The car has been driven some 9000 miles since restoration, there are some imperfections in the paintwork but nothing that would photograph. Naturally there is no sign of rust. The car is available here in Palm Beach for your inspection, you are encouraged to satisfy yourself as to it's condition.The title is clear and in my name.
