Vehicle Detail
1975 Ford F350 Dually Crew cab Utility body, Truck is in good shape and built tough, The frame and suspension parts look like railroad iron with 10 leaf springs in the rear and a Pintle hitch for pulling either a ball or ring trailer hitch, This truck has fairly new tires all the way around, a Kenwood Stereo system including amp and speakers (All Kenwood) with 6x9 speakers in the front doors and 6 1/2 inch in the back door and a two battery set up with isolator and a 150 amp alternator, The truck has a 360 motor with two barrel carb and 120,000 miles on it and runs great and at idle it has 40 pounds of oil pressure and 55 pounds at 2000 rpms, Water temp stays pretty much at a balmy 160 degrees in the winter and about 180 degrees in the hot summers of Las Vegas, The truck also needs to have the transmission serviced, It works fine the fluid is still pink but has a slight brown tinge to it but no burnt odor, It also has a front bumper set up for a winch which is now not there, Does have a minor crunch right front fender, The carpet or should I say lack of certainly needs replaced as there is pretty much none there and there are a few small holes drilled in the lower part of the dash where apparently radios and other things were once attached but nothing ugly or cant be filled and the upholstery is in fair to good condition with a couple of tears from age and thread seperation but certainly not from abuse, This truck has been well taken care of thru the years which leads me to believe the miles on the odometer are correct, The locks on the service body at least half of them need to be reworked as they are too 37 years old and dont work like they use too and all compartments are pinned and covered by the alarm system, The stereo, Alarm and battery setup is worth 1800. by itself and recently put in a new aluminum radiator and a 1000.00s in Aluminum Alloy wheels This is a really unique truck mainly because of its service body design and the Crew Cab design, I have been told this truck has had three owners including myself, The first 27 years of its life was at a volunteer fire dept. in Lost Nation Iowa and you will find no rust. Nada book lists this truck at 4025.00 ,Why Iam getting rid of this truck is strictly a financial thing, Ive got new toys to play with, It starts right up everytime, Ive replaced the Alternator with a single wire 150 amp model and Ive totally redone the cooling system with a new radiator, Water pump belts and hoses and the heater has been bypassed as the core leaks and I havent got to it yet and a new starter will be in the trucks future before long, Also the carburetor was rebuilt last year and the fuel pump has been replaced as well as the filter,The wheels all six of them have been replaced or upgraded as they were all split rims and now they are all solid and on a last note none of this work was necessary, Just prevenitive and elective. The truck is also wired to run a 120 volt power block the length of the utility box on the left side, If you look in the engine compartment there is an orange plug designed to plug into a power inverter that is not there and also you can plug an extension cord into the front bumper to power the strip on the left side of the truck, The steering wheel is also aftermarket, The stoplights and side markers are LED as wellI love this truck and its like cutting my throat to part with it but if you look in a couple of pictures you will see a white Trans Am my newest money pit and I just cant afford both of them including the insurance so the truck must go.The doors on the cab have 6 x9 speakers in front and six inch speakers in the back, The doors were cut to accomodate the speakers and the job was professionaly done, The stereo is all Kenwood and will blow you out of the truck if cranked loud enough, Not subwoofer thump but good hard hitting whatever you listen too.I have told you everything that I can think of, If you have any questions to ask please do, I will not decieve you or cheat you, Ive been on that end and its not a nice thing, If you are into the truck thing and obviously you are or you wouldnt be reading this, This is a sweet truck and of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder but for this truck to survive 27 years in Iowa with out a spec of rust or cancer except for a little surface rust you see on the engine components has got to say it has been well cared for. This vehicle is also being offered for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early should said vehicle sell.If you have less than a 10 positive feedback rating contact me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled.
