76 Ford Mustang Cobra 302 4 speed, 1 owner, original title. The things that have been changed from the factory through the years are intake, carb, headers, cam, oil pressure gauge, heads rebuilt. Car has less that 81000 miles on it and runs excellent. Hasnt been driven on a regular basis since 1997. Original paint, original interior, original engine/trans, all original except the add ons above plus wheels. You'll be hard pressed to find a better car with this make and model that hasnt been changed, rusted, wrecked, or kid customized through the years. This was/is a garage kept car but not perfect. There are 3 dings on the drivers side, and the white stripes (tape) are cracked on the metal but not the plastics and or fiberglass from the sun/heat. No rust but a nickel sized bubble under the rear quarter on the under roll lip, not a hole. No other rust period anywhere. Interior would be almost mint if not for the seat seams that came loose. Have original paperwork from new along with protecto plate. Bought in Colorado, stayed in Colorado where is a dry arid climate (no/low humidity) and is nice for cars as they do not rust like places with humidity. Has catalytic converters on it along with both sets of original keys. Has American racing rims and BF goodrich T/A tires. Original spare is in the back along with 4 lugs in the plastic bag. Car draws attention wherever I go and gets more attention than my 65 fastback because you just dont see these. I have this insured for $9000 (no reserve is lots lower) through hagerty full coverage as my second classic car and it costs me 84 dollars a year. I would love to swap a 410HP 347 stroker into this car but have others and no room in the garage is the only reason Im selling. It would be a fun ride in such a light car and make the 2012 GT owners look silly. (just my opinion not yours but this car is a 1000 pounds lighter, would be same horsepower) Look at photos, ask any questions before bidding, and thanks for looking/bidding.
