Vehicle Detail
2002 Nissan Maxima SE - 6 Speed Tranny - Sunroof - Leather - Boze Stereo - Alloy Wheels Ice Cold AC - Clean CarFax shows no accidents - 68,479 Miles We are relisting this vehicle because the winning bidder failed to leave a deposit or even look at the car. New Yorkers please read fully to understand your restrictions. According to CarFax there is a mileage discrepancy. This could be a clerical error, as the digital readout clearly shows only 68479. Strong motor, tranny and clutch. No noises, motor leaks, smoking, misfire or slippage. Body is straight - small dent on driver side rear door. Some scratches and a little fading on the hood. A little compound and wax might bring back a shine on the hood. The rest of the body will shine up nicely. Interior is excellent. Tires and brakes are fine. Car drives very nicely. This vehicle goes to the highest bidder - No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! Please Don't Ask! This car will not pass NY State's strict inspection standard due to a little wetness around the power steering rack. Power steering fluid has not been added and it does not even seem to drip. But in NY, this minor condition fails the inspection. One headlight is out. The top section of the radiator tank has a slight leak. As soon as the antifreeze level comes down to the leak level, the leak stops. Car has never overheated or run hot. We drove it over 15 miles and through a crowded car wash - no problem. Bid with confidence and drive it home. Sorry, there are no warranties or guarantees. Because this vehicle will not pass NY inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. Sorry, I don’t make the rules but as a used car dealer I must abide by them. Any questions call 516-228-1016 and leave a message if I’m not in. Please don’t wait until the last day or last few hours to contact me. Please speak clearly. I will pick you up at the train or bus station. Winning bidder please leave a $300.00 deposit in PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close. If I don't receive the deposit within the 48 hours I will relist the car. Please plan on picking this vehicle up within 15 days of the auction close unless you have made prior arrangements with me before bidding. If the vehicle is left after 15 days your deposit becomes non-refundable and I will relist the vehicle. All vehicles that run and drive are driven at least 10 to 20 miles and usually 30 to 40 miles. I try to describe these vehicles to the best of my 35 years of experience. Our familiarity with these autos is limited to the miles we drive them. Please be aware of this when bidding. As always, if the winning bidder is not happy after road test and examination, I will cancel the sale and refund your deposit. “A bid on eBay is considered a contract, and you're obligated to purchase the item.” Final sale price is what you pay! (New York residents must pay sales tax and inspection fee when applicable.) There are no extra hidden fees!!! Good luck and thanks for looking!
