I am offering for sale my very nice 1966 classic VW. This vehicle is near perfect in all respects and the pictures should speak for themselves. The under carriage is as clean and rust free as the exterior and interior of the car. I purchased this car about 16 months ago from a gentleman who owns several McDonalds restaurants -- but his wife preferred a Porshe Carrera (me too). Since then, I have driven the car perhaps only 40 or 50 miles and it has otherwise been garage kept (as it was previously). However, I start it weekly and drive it around the block. It runs, stops, and drives great and everything works as it should. I have had only one thing done to the car since purchasing it. Early on, there was a (sometimes) intermittent starting concern which was corrected by RomRug Inc (works only on German cars) in Clarksburg, WV. A new 8V battery and 6v regulator were installed and it's been fine since. The paint is beautiful, the w/w tires are like new, the brakes are fine, and the engine and transmission seem flawless. I am selling this beauty basically because I haven't time to drive it as my time is spent on several Model A Fords and restoring a 1937 Buick Coupe -- and garage space is also a premium.
