I am listing this 2001 Porsche Boxter S with about 133,000 miles (mostly highway miles!) for a very cool gentleman in Sarasota, Florida. I believe that his the 4th owner, and has owned it for the past 2 years or so. He's a "motor-head" and I am also listing two other vehicles for him, a 1957 Porsche Speedster Rebuild, and an awesome 2003 M3 with a AC SCHNITZER Performance Package! He's selling because he's ready to buy something else. Let me just emphasize that the current owner is an individual who takes really good care of his belongings, and this Porsche is no exemption. This Boxter is mechanically in very good condition. He purchased it from a mechanic that is a Porsche dealer expert. It had the 130,000 major service done, including valve tensioner adjustments, etc. This S runs as it should. I personally drove it and it runs very, very well, it's tight and straight. Everything works, including the A/C, etc. There are no fluid leaks (he showed me the pavement where it's parked and it was without oil stains). The top and its electric mechanism are both in good condition (see photos). The tires are about 50/50 left on them, and have the special factory Turbo Rims for the S edition! Cosmetically the Boxter has some issues though. One is that the clear coat is pealing off the trunk lid, and it has slight indentations on the edge of the front hood. The hood dents were caused because his kid and friends sat on it, but they are not too easy to see. (see attached photos for both issues). The rest of the Porsche paint finish is pretty good, so investing in refinishing the trunk lid would be more than enough, in my opinion that is. The interior is in pretty good condition too considering just normal wear and tear. To sum it up, this Porsche is a good running vehicle that can be enjoyed right away!
