Offered for your consideration is a 1973 BMW 2002 in Inka orange. The car has not been restored, but was resprayed at some point before I bought it. This 02 is a great driver, but is hardly a show car. It has a nice patina and is in great driving condition. I bought this car from the original family in 2003 and it was being used as a daily driver. It has always been adult owned and has not been hacked up like some of the other cars I've seen. I have used it for numerous Thanksgiving drives, New Years Day drives, etc. It always gets plenty of attention and warm smiles. I’m selling it to fund other projects so I can bring them to completion. The Webers were jetted on a dyno shortly after the engine was rebuilt. I will include the dyno report with the car. Known issues include the aforementioned rust (see pictures and feel free to inspect the car in person), the speedo doesn't work (not sure if it's the cable or the speedo itself), the right rear tire loses air slowly, the temp gauge may have a loose ground because it occasionally stops reading correctly, and the left rear brake light works intermittently (this is probably relatively easy to fix, but it was just brought to my attention so I haven't had a chance to dig into it). The car is located in Long Beach, CA. In person inspections can be arranged and they are encouraged. This car is being sold as is with no guarantee or warranty.
