Fresh from the field a 1970 VW Bus Deluxe. From the M-plate Made October 14, 1969 Delivered to St. Louis USA port Paint: Special paint unknown Interior: Special paint unknow Vent wings in passenger area, White wall tires Bus does not have an engine nor transaxle. No rear interior. The sliding door is missing the center support and is not currently attached. The rear apron, engine door and mustache bar are included in the sale as are some light/signal fixtures. All side panels appear to be original. My guess is that the Bus was originally all Montana Red and was either resprayed blue/white at the factory or it was done at the dealership. The Bus was delivered to the St. Louis port and there is sticker on the rear deck that says Collinsville VW. Collinsville, IL is located 12 miles from St. Louis. Other than the red bleeding through in seveal places and around the trim there is no evidence of a collision or respray other than the original. Bus has all 4 hubcabs. There are 15 in wheels located in the rear. The Bus was titled in Arkansas in 1974 and was last registed in 1983. There is Rust!. Needs front floorboards, both sides, rear rocker in front of right rear tire, just below drivers side front window and just below rear deck. There are no rear seats but rear side panels are still in place as is the headliner. Steering box is tight. Saphire 14 Radio still installed I do not have keys to the Bus! I do have a clear Arkansas title to get the Bus back on the road email with any questions. There is no motor or trans so bring a trailer. I polished out the rear door to show that it still has good paint
