67.5 Datsun 1600 Roadster. The car runs good and drives good. This is a project car but will not need much to make it roadworthy again. The only thing keeping it from being licensed is the tail light, signal lights, and brake lights are not working. The floor pans on the driverside are soft and there is a baseball sized hole under the gas pedal on the firewall. The car has a new water pump, brake master cylinder, rear wheel brake cylinders, and reworked front disc brakes. It starts very easy and idles with 40 lbs oil pressure. Temp gauge shows 190 at operating temperature. The 4 speed shifts smooth and the car has a good clutch. The speedometer is a jumpy till about 40 mph and then smooths out. It does need a new speedo cable and has the incorrect tach (66-early 67). The exhaust was pieced in by the previous owner and I have just left it that way since it doesn't leak. It has a clean gas tank, but the fuel gauge doesn't work. It comes with the correct convertible top frame, but will need new top on it. I do have a hardtop that can be bought separately after purchase if you like. I also have a new set of tires with Appliance mesh wheels that can be bought separately. Neither the Appliance wheels or hardtop are included with the auction sale. There is some bubbling of paint in the rear quarters in front of rear wheels. The rockers and front fenders seem pretty solid. The trunk lid and floor are nice with no rot or crack in the floor. Again, it is a project car, but does run, drive, and stop. It is a 67.5 which is the most sought after because of the dual circuit brakes (front/rear). I accept Paypal for the deposit. A $500 Deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end and balance paid in cash or certified funds when picking up car. Car is sold AS-IS. There is no warranty written or implied.
