Up for auction is a Black 1968 Ford Torino GT Convertible for parts or restoration. My son and I purchased this car to restore a few years ago and our shop resources became an issue. We have not worked on it for the past two years so rather than let it sit any longer; perhaps someone who has time and resources can get this survivor back on the road or use the parts to complete one. We accomplished the following prior to our stoppage: · the engine has been rebuilt and there are no miles on it – the rebuilt engine is not in the car· C4 transmission has been rebuilt and there are no miles on it – transmission is not in the car· Four new P215/70R14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires on slotted dish chrome wheels with no miles· Purchased new gas tank which in not mounted in the car· Purchased new front and back floor pans with toe pans which are not in car; have light surface rust on them Some other information includes:· Odometer reads 01315; I do not know history of its total miles· Car’s color use to be Gulfstream Aqua as best I can tell· All glass is in good shape except convertible window· Dashboard in very good shape · Automatic on the column· Factory air not functional· Factory Disc front brakes· Bench seat front and rear – in need of restoration· Convertible top needs to be replaced· Rails need some attention I will do my best to answer any questions about the car.
