1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Work Van Van needs work, this Van starts and Runs but does not move. It appears to be leaking transmission fluid, buy this vehicle to need a trans. It may need a trans or may not but it LEAKS TRANSMISSION FLUID AND DOES NOT MOVE. We took this van in on trade and it was towed in. The engine sounds very healthy and runs great without overheating, Very solid Motor. The body has rust and wear and tear on it as well as the inside of the vehicle. This van was used a work van so it is not brand new, or perfect. It has very good miles on it at only 111,792. The tires are in almost new condition with all matching except one on the front drivers side. The van has manual windows and locks, and a working radio. The ac compressor is attached, but the air was never tested. This van has 8 lug heavy duty axles and a posi rear end. It has a heavy duty suspension. THERE IS RUST DENTS AND SCRATCHES ON THIS CAR. There is rust inside the cab on both sides by the tire wells, as well on the outside of the van. The car was never driven just run, you will need a trailer to tow this vehicle from its location. HE ADDED TRANS FLUID TO FILL IT UP TO ITS NORMAL LEVEL AND THE VAN WAS THEN ABLE TO DRIVE AROUND OUR PARKING LOT UNDER ITS OWN FREE WILL. THE FARTHEST WE TOOK THE VAN WAS AROUND THE LOT BUT IT DOES MOVE. IT SEEMS TO HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL TRANS FLUID LEAK, FROM WHERE WE ARE UNSURE IT WAS NOT PUT UP ON A LIFT OR DIAGNOSED. OUR MECHANIC SAID IT COULD BE A LINE, IT COULD BE A HOUSING COULD BE ????? HE DIDNT KNOW WITHOUHT PULLING IT IN AND PUTTING IT UP IN THE AIR.
