Vehicle was purchased from a client when the transmission seized in 3rd gear requring replacement of the transmission. As a salvage yard we had a low mileage transmission and transfer case unit with 89k miles when dismantled. We replaced the clutch completely and resurfacing the flywheel as well as replaced the output seal, shift rod seal and detant plate. The transmission mounts were also replaced as well as the passenger side motor mount. Differential, transfer case and transmission all flushed and filled with redline synthetics oils. Once that was done we replaced the timing belt and water pump as well as all the drive belts then followed up with a BOSCH distributor and cap replacement and new spark plugs. Valve adjustment was also done as needed along with new rocker shaft plugs and valve cover gasket. The drivers and passenger front seats we shot so I replaced them with "is" sport seats in black. I also replaced the glove box and latch as well as the drivers side under dash panel. Complete set of factory "ix" wheels with snow tires as well as a factory "ix" spare. Upgraded the car to the large e28 535i tool box in the trunk with all most every tool and do dad but missing the 10 mm wrench and hand rag. Installed the "is" front lower facia lip as well as new fog lights and a new tail light lens. The body is a bit rought paint wise but almost dent free, minor dent in the drivers side front fender with is not noticable from 5 feet away. The vehicle does have a salvaged title but only due to a "break in" insurance claim prior to my purchasing of the vehicle. I have the smog test reslts that will show how well it runs, near perfect emmissions test. For emissions test just email and I will send no problem! Replaced both the shifter boot as well as the shift knob all with factory equipment today.
