Vehicle Detail

This car is awesome!!! 1971 Buick Skylark GSX 455 tribute I buy cars all over the United States. I buy what I like. I put them on ebay and try to make a buck or two. Normally I dont ever get to see the cars, but this time I actually bought this here in the Phoenix area and I get to look at it in person. Here is the basic run down. This vehicle was repossessed from a body shop that was performing a restoration on the car. There are a few parts missing. The body and paint work are very, very nice. The car is about 95% complete. It looks great and is a very easy finish. Here is the description. RUST: NONE!!!!!!! I dont mean that it has been repaired, I mean it never had any!!! Check out the under carraige photos. It has not been painted, so what you see is the actual condition of the car. 100% grade A meat!!! BODY: The body is in great condition. The body is very straight and is very, very nice. PAINT: The photo of my reflection is the front fender. Look at how clear it is. The paint is nice. The paint is as nice as any high dollar driver I have ever seen. Look at the reflections I have photos of. The body is straight and the paint is great. There are a couple of small chips on the edge of the doors, but it shows great. The hood has a gouge on the hood that is about 2 inches long and an inch wide. I took a photo of it. It is really an easy fix because of the fact that it is black. There are a few little scratches that will buff out easily. Even the door jams are painted nice. This car looks great. INTERIOR: The interior is completely done. It has a new headliner, door panels look new, the seats have been redone and the carpet is brand new. The dash has been recovered and is great shape. The dash is not all put back together yet. I do have the glove box door, ash tray, piece that goes below the steering column and the A pilar panels. They are already painted and look great. The seats are in great shape. The interior looks great. ENGINE: The engine is a 455 ci big block Buick. The detail is very good, but not perfect. It just needs to be cleaned up a little to make it a show winner. The carb and intake are Edelbrock. The valve covers are chrome. The headers are Hooker headers. The engine is painted and appears to be rebuilt, but I am not sure of this. It does run great. The ignition is MSD. TRANSMISSION: I think the transmission is a turbo 400. It does have a leak on the transmission pan gasket. I have only taken the car around the block because of the lack of a plate. It did shift into second, but never went fast enough to get it into third. RADIATOR: The radiator is an aluminum radiator that does have a small pin hole leak. As the car warmed up a little, the leak showed up. Can be fixed. It does have an electric fan. It functions great. TIRES and WHEELS: The tires and wheels are in decent shape, but they do date the car. The finish on the polished rims are fogged because of a cleaner that some idiot tried to use. HEATER: The complete heater assembly is gone. No A/C at all. DASH: The dash needs to be restored. It is missing a few switches etc... WINDSHIELD WIPERS: The complete windshield wiper assembly is missing. EXHAUST SYSTEM: The exhaust is 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. It runs through dual Flow Master mufflers. New!!! TITLE: The title is a clear title. TAXES: If you live in the State of Arizona or Florida, you will have to pay a $100.00 processing fee along with any and all taxes due the state. I am a licensed dealer in Florida, so you have to pay the Arizona fees to register it. Any other state and you will have to take care of any fees or taxes on your own. WARRANTY: There is no warranty written or implied. STORAGE: The car can be stored for 30 days free of charge. SHIPPING: The shipping charges and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. QUESTIONS: Please feel free to ask any questions. Pete Nicolds 602-625-1579
