Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Classic car with a solid body and good engine. It looks like it has a new tachometer, radio, and speakers, but everything else is original. It has some wear and tear, but less than you’d expect from a car this age. She could be a daily driver with a little work, but would be much better as a collector's car (also with a little work). 4-speed manual transmission, straight 6 engine runs on regular gasoline (the owner’s manual says to use premium, and I’ve been adding a lead substitute). Fuel injection, power steering and power brakes. Manual windows and locks. The odometer may have rolled over, but I don’t know. It comes with white wool-style front seat covers, which I removed for the pictures. It also comes with the owner’s manual, a parts catalog (doesn’t show part numbers, just how they fit together), a service locator from 1966, and some other random original documents.-New starter and battery. I’ve replaced the fuel gauge sending unit and the exhaust hangers in the back. New windshield washing pump. -She has a tendency to stall in warm weather, and she’s harder to start than she ought to be. Starts like a regular old car does, and it should start like a new car. My mechanic says it could be a fuel valve, but he couldn’t find one new. Someone who owned a similar car said it could also be the timing belt. -There are small pockmarks and fading on the paint, and some minor dings. There’s very little surface rust. I’ve taken pictures of most of the worst spots. It looks like the driver’s side was keyed and repaired in two places. There’s a hole in the hood over the battery terminal, and the paint near that spot was altered. There is a dent in the back. If you'd like a list of everything that I know to be wrong with the car right now, email me and I'll send it to you. Please feel free to ask questions, have it inspected (at your own expense), or take it for a test drive before bidding. Thank you.
