Vehicle Detail
Very nice 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix. Original 389 has 30,000 on complete overhaul. Original "slim jim" tranny replaced with 200-4R last year. Front disc brake conversion. Interior is beautiful. Paint was done about 8 years ago. Car runs and drives great. On Jul-21-12 at 06:39:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have a full set of original factory tinted glass that will be included if buyer wants. On Jul-21-12 at 13:33:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Had some more questions: It is the original motor. VIN on the front of the engines matches the car. The new tranny was installed professionally by a local shop using the Bendtsen's kit. All gauges work including the clock, vacuum gauge, and tachometer. The radio is the stock unit which I removed and sent off and spent 400 having it converted to AM FM Stereo with MP3 player input. It looks completely original except for a tiny LED in the faceplate when turned on. Speakers are Infinity in the factory locations and a small powered sub under the drivers seat. Pertronix ignition system. On Jul-22-12 at 18:53:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had quite a few people ask me what my reserve is. My reserve is 13,500.00On Jul-25-12 at 15:47:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had many questions about my price on this car and "what would you take for it?" My reserve as previously stated is 13,500.00, I will not take less than that. On Jul-26-12 at 15:05:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a pic of the shop manuals and other paper items that are included. I also will include the receipts for all major work that has been done, engine, transmission, brakes, etc. As previously mentioned will also include full set of factory tinted glass. Belts, hoses, oil filters, car cover (I use it even in the garage.). Some other questions I've had asked: Both the front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed at Denver Bumper, Headlights are correct style T-3 reproductions, dash was redone a few years back by Just Dashes, igintion is Pertronix lobe sensor style (no points), easily put back to original if someone wanted to. Tachman rebuilt the tach. Alignment holds straight and true. Windowds roll up and down properly. Best question so far is: Are there any funny smells? No there are none, and no "old car" smell either. If I've forgotten anything please shoot me an E-mail.
