I am listing this 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK430 with about 157,00 miles for a lady near Sarasota, about an hour from me. She's selling because she does not use it that much anymore. She purchased the Benz new and gave it to her father when the car had only about 1000 miles or so. Her father passed away last year, so the Benz has been back with her ever since. The car has always been maintained by the local Mercedes dealer, and mechanically, it runs very well, but the A/C does not work. Cosmetically the car has issues. To start with it REALY needs a very good cleaning, specially the interior. The cup-holder in the center console is broken. Some of the passenger and driver leather seat's seems are coming undone (see photos). The ceiling has stains (see photos). Within the center area of the rear seats some parts may be missing, maybe an ashtray or some other plastic element (see photos). The body is pretty straight, and I was told that it was never in an accident, but as the images demonstrate it has issues too. Trunk lid has a hole like through the metal (see photos). It has some light dings here and there, and blemishes too! (see photos). The front spoiler has damages (see photos). Tires are in pretty good shape. To sum it up, with a very good professional detailing, (mostly in the interior), this CLK can be greatly improved. However, keep in mind that the A/C does not work, and it could be an easy fix or an expensive one. In terms of the paint finish, I would probably focus on the trunk and front spoiler. The rest is not too obvious. Nevertheless, this is a very good running vehicle that still has lots of presence that can be enjoyed and taken to the next level without spending too much money!
