For sale is a 1972 VW super beetle the last year for flat windshield and it has the rare autostick trans with 1600 dual port engine ! The engine has just been rebuilt with new cylinders and pistons connecting rods and all new bearings seals and push tubes, valves, and new j-tubes to replace heater boxes has custom quad exhaust! The engine is out of the car but has oil in it and has been turned over often to keep it lubed I planed on restoring this car for my 14 year old daughter but I don't have the time or money so I would rather let it go then let it sit! The car is pretty solid for the age the floor pan is really nice only a little rust on the outer edge in front of the rear wheels where the jack support mount is! The car does have some surface rust as you see in the photos the only bad rust on the body is the lower quarter panel behind the doors! The other common area for rust is in front of the back wheels and the back bottom corner behind the front wheels! The great thing about these cars is that you can get brand new metal for all of the rusted areas and have a great car with no rust when your done! I have a ton of catalogs with every nut and bolt to restore this cool car! The car needs a restoration and will need to be towed or put on a trailer the tires all hold air but are weather cracked and will need replacing! The car is all there and everything is original except the exhaust and J-tubes!The cars book value all restored is over $13,000 and going up so it is a great investment to fix it up! I would have loved to get it done myself but have too many projects and not enough money to get them all done! I am selling this car as is no warranty or refunds it is to be picked up no shipping but I could deliver up to 200 miles from my location for extra for gas and delivery!
