Vehicle Detail

One of the most beautiful cars Mercedes ever built. A true classic in excellent condition. For several years this was my daily driver. It was fun to drive, reliable, and always drew lots of complements. This is not a show car but an extremely beautiful and well restored driver. It has less than 10,000 miles on the rebuilt motor. The carpet and leather seats are new. The factory air conditioning works perfectly and it even has the "kulmeister" sticker still in the vent window. The paint is nearly flawless with no rust and only a couple of small scratches (see picture near grille). The undercarriage is rust free and has recently received new rubber undercoating. All gauges and lights work. The wood trim around the windshield has been partially re-finished and is in very good condition and looks good. The wood dash is original and looks great. The headliner is original and in great shape except for some discoloration around the sunroof. The seal around the sunroof has been replaced, it does not leak, and the power sunroof works perfectly. The original Becker Mexico radio powers up and works, but it will only hold very strong stations. There are a few other minor imperfections I'll list here. The heater controls and cables have been replaced and work great, however, the plastic knob on one control is broken. You can still work the lever and the knob is cheap and easy to replace. The plastic thumblock on the driver's door is missing. There is a small (3/4 inch) crack in the ivoroid steering wheel. The rubber gaskets at the windshield and back window are solid and do not leak but the do show some age upon close inspection. The rear bumper has some dimples and a small rust spot. All that said, this is an exceptionally beautiful car that you will be proud to drive. It fires right up and drives smoothly. It looks, drives, smells and sounds the way a classic Mercedes should. Please feel free to ask any questions. Good luck.
