Vehicle Detail
1970 Mustang BOSS 302 clone. This car is Boss 302 correct to nearly every detail; no one will know it's not an $80,000 original (except for the F on the VIN, where a BOSS would be a G). Most importantly: It’s an original 302 4 barrel with dual exhaust and a toploader 4 speed; NO BOSSES WERE EVER AUTOMATICS, an automatic in a BOSS clone is a joke. From the factory, this car was the closest thing to a BOSS without actually being one. New clutch, new dash, new power steering pump, new heater core. Functional Shaker hood, disc brakes, long tube headers, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb & intake, dual exhaust, Accel Super Coil ignition, Ford Motorsports engine dress up kit, fold down rear seat, 8" rear end, 15" Magnum 500s in the rear, 14" Magnum 500's in the front (wheels have slight pitting, tires are 80%-90%). Interior color is black. The seat covers have cloth inserts; this makes it possible to drive the car on hot days. Always stored inside. Only 84,XXX original miles. I have never seen a car this old with such a perfectly rust free undercarriage! Clean and clear title in my name and possession; ready to sign over to the winner bidder. No flaws in carpet or headliner. Front door panels have very light wear. Driver seat has light wear on left side. Glass has no defects. Side windows roll up and down as they should. Weatherstripping is excellent. The finish of the painted hood stripes matches the finish of the BOSS stripes better than any car I've ever seen. A few years ago this was a high end show car. Now it is an older restoration that shows some wear; I took pictures of the bad spots. Please make sure to take a look at the pictures. The bad areas pictured are exactly the same as the day I bought the car 3 years ago. Bid with confidence; the restoration is high quality and has not aged a bit since I bought the car. There really aren't any more defects on the car, other than what is shown in the 4 close-ups. If you see something that looks bad, it is most likely just dirty; I've averaged 2,000 miles a year on this car since buying it. Also, the close-ups make the paint look hazy; that is not the case at all. The close-ups were taken when the car was dirty. Also, the car was brought to a body shop and was professionally buffed since the photos were taken. The picture taken next to the pink and blue cars shows how beautiful the paint is now. Fast and fun car! I'm 45 minutes southeast of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Car is sold as-is, where-is. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I will take the day off work to sign over the title and help load the car. Full payment (minus the deposit) must be in cash if you want to take possession of the car immediately. I will accept a form of check but the car and title will not leave my yard until the check is clear (be advised, this may take 2 weeks or longer). I have done my best to provide an honest description of the car; if you have any remaining questions you need to call me. Thanks, Dale 712-449-5871
